We support the German national ski teams across multiple disciplines – from biathlon to ski jumping to alpine skiing – with our innovative medical products and treatment methods.

Speed and Simplicity

Using the Arthrex ACP double syringe, PRP can be prepared and applied within a few minutes (if used within 30 minutes of blood withdrawal, anticoagulant is not required). Intuitive processes with few handling steps help to avoid errors in application.

Less Painful Injections

As it does not contain anticoagulants, which can cause unpleasant burning sensations when injected due to their pH levels, the PRP produced with the Arthrex ACP double syringe can be injected into the patient with minimal pain.2

Safety

Certified as a medical device, the Arthrex ACP double syringe offers a closed, sterile, needle-free system for use in the practice or operating theater.

Made in Germany

The Arthrex ACP double syringe is manufactured in Germany. A quality management system in accordance with DIN ISO 13485 is in place for quality assurance.

Efficient

15 mL of whole blood yield approximately 5-6 mL of PRP.

Rapid, Safe, and Simple Preparation of PRP

Launched in 2007, the unique Arthrex ACP double syringe enables closed, rapid, and simple production of PRP. No synthetic separation gels are used, as the PRP is separated from the other blood components in a purely physical process. This system, which has been used successfully for many years, enables the production of approximately 5-6 mL of PRP with a platelet concentration that is about two and a half times increased over baseline, coupled with simultaneous separation of leukocytes and erythrocytes.3-5

The clinical efficiency of this composition of PRP (ACP) has been demonstrated in an FDA-approved level 1 study, among others.6

In addition, the literature describes how the secretion of autologous hyaluronic acid is stimulated effectively by a platelet concentration in this range.7

Blood Collection

15 mL blood are drawn directly into the Arthrex ACP double syringe.

Centrifugation

Centrifugation for 5 minutes.

PRP Injection

The ACP is drawn into the internal syringe. The ACP can be injected directly from the syringe. If the ACP is injected within 30 minutes of being prepared, anticoagulant is not required.
